A position has become available for a Qualified Engine Machinist to join our team of dedicated and motivated engine building and workshop staff.

The successful applicant will hold a trade certificate with a minimum of 4 years experience preferably in performance engine reconditioning.  You must possess a high standard of quality workmanship with attention to detail for precision work.  Good communication, organisation and time management skills are required. This position would also include the supervision and guidance of an apprentice.

KRE Race Engines is currently seeking an experienced Engine Builder to fill a vacancy in our V8 Supercar Division.  Reporting to the Head V8 Engine Builder, the
successful application will work within a small team of motivated engine builders.

The successful applicant will be required to perform duties including stripping, washing & reporting on engines, rebuilding and maintaining the engines to specific requirements.  Experience in Dyno setup and tuning is an advantage. You will travel to each of the V8 Supercars Rounds throughout Australia and overseas servicing our customers in an Engine Data Support Role.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.  Previous experience inV8 Supercar Race Engine Building and Motec Control Systems experience is essential.  Some engine reconditioning experience would be an advantage.

Salary is negotiable with successful applicant.
