KRE Race Engines is a family-owned business with a reputation for building high-performance race engines, specialising in Supercars and Sprintcars. Located in a clean, modern workshop in Redland Bay, we pride ourselves on quality workmanship & reliability within a supportive team environment.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team in a full-time role. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands engine components and thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment. Salary negotiable based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch engine parts
• Purchase and pick parts for engine jobs
• Phone and email parts sales – maintain new website online non stock parts sales
• Collect parts, machining and engines etc from suppliers and customers as needed (company van use – valid driver’s licence required)
• Stock control, maintaining stock levels and perform regular stocktakes
• Inventory Management and data entry using MYOB (preferred) or similar accounting software
• Freight bookings for parts and engines
• Work closely with Workshop and Business Managers for consistent workflow

What We’re Looking For

• A solid understanding of engine componentry with a background in a similar role
• Previous experience in an office/workshop environment
• Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
• High attention to detail and show initiative
• Great communication and customer service skills for working with suppliers and customers via phone and email
• A tidy appearance and a team-focused, positive attitude
• Confident using MYOB (preferred or similar) and Microsoft Office programs
• Current driver’s licence required and forklift licence beneficial but not essential
