KRE Race Engines is a locally owned and operated family business specialising in building quality Supercar & Speedway Race Engines. We have a small team of skilled engine builders, machinists, workshop & admin staff who pride themselves on quality workmanship.  KRE Race Engines focus is our high level of customer service & product reliability.

We now have a position available for a Qualified Engine Machinist to join our team in our modern workshop facility located at Redland Bay Qld. 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum 2+years experience in a similar performance workshop environment & have an Engine Reconditioning Trade Certificate preferable
• Competency in all aspects of engine machining including cylinder head & block machining, engine balancing & general turning & milling experience preferable
• High standard of quality workmanship with attention to detail for precision machining is essential
• Positive attitude with a tidy presentation & ability to work well within a team environment & be open to learning new skills
• Good time management skills & be able to work to deadlines is required
• Race engine assembly experience also an advantage

This is a full time position with a negotiable salary based on experience.
