KRE Race Engines is a locally owned and operated family business specialising in building quality Supercar & Sprintcar Race Engines. We have a small team of skilled engine builders, machinists, workshop & admin staff who pride themselves on quality workmanship.  KRE Race Engine’s focus is our high level of customer service & product reliability.

We currently have two positions available for an experienced Engine Builder & an experienced Dyno Technician to join our team in our busy workshop facility located at Redland Bay Qld. 

Engine Builder position involves assisting our workshop staff with stripping, washing, reporting & high end attention to detail engine assembly of our customers race engines.  Previous experience in a similar role is required.

Qualified Dyno Technician also required, must have experience with Superflow Engine Dynos & Motec Control Systems Tuning.  This position would assist our Technical Manager to run our two Superflow engine dynos, ProHub Chassis dyno & servicing of customer engines.

Interstate travel to Supercar race events, servicing our Supercar customers in an Engine Data track support role may be required for suitable applicant.

Some engine reconditioning experience, use of lathes, mills, welding etc is an advantage but not essential.

Applicants must be able to work well within a small team environment & have good communication, organisational & time management skills which are required to meet deadlines.

These are full time positions with negotiable salary based on experience.

Mid-late January start for successful applicants is ideal but is negotiable.
